Car Tents Or Trailers? Arguments For Both

Some of my fondest memories growing up was car camping. Families can see so much of the world on a decent budget by bringing their camping gear along. For those interested in car camping, there’s two ways to go about it: you can either purchase a tent that connects to the car, or tow a small trailer along.
Car Tents
Generally, you can purchase car tents for SUV’s vans and station wagons (and any other vehicle with a hatch back). Hypothetically, they could work with any car, and just attach the tent sleeve to the trunk, though it may require some modification on your part.
Once the sleeve is attached to the back of your car, simply tighten the strap until snug, so as to ensure a dry evening. A huge advantage of a car tent is that your vehicle and tent connect, which limits the amount of loading and unloading.
If all this seems like too much daily maintenance, consider purchasing a tent trailer. Tent trailers have several advantages over RVs: their smaller size makes them an ideal option for the campers who don’t have the time, money or inclination to purchase a motor home, and they are exponentially more gas efficient.
Coleman Tent Trailers: For Those Who Are Frequently on the Move

Coleman is a well known name in the outdoor supplies business. The company provides tents, camping supplies and even trailers. Coleman tent trailers are some of the better known products in the recreational vehicle industry; and for people who love to travel and camp, these vehicles might be worth considering.
Coleman tent trailers are offered in various designs and sizes. Each trailer model has specific features designed to make mobile lives comfortable and interesting. For some, having the freedom to come and go as they please is what makes trailer living attractive. Although some people only dust off their trailers when they need to go on vacation or a camping trip, there are still those who prefer to live in trailers permanently. Whatever a person’s preference might be, the brand can usually supply an appropriate tent trailer model.
Some of the basic features that can be found in these trailers include beds, refrigerators, functional kitchens with sink, water pumps, water storage containers, storage cabinets, stoves, showers and toilets and battery packs.
Although most Coleman tent trailers offered in the Internet are pre-owned, it might still be worth a buyer’s time to check them out. Some of these models might prove to be good buys and the lower prices can provide a lot of savings for those who do not have enough dollars for a brand new vehicle.
